New Volunteers Registration
Code of Conduct
All Parish Councils have to adopt a Code of Conduct. This sets out the rules relating to the behaviour of councillors and declaration of interests.
All Councillors make a written undertaking to be bound by the Code of Conduct when they sign their Declaration of Acceptance of Office
Individual registers of interest have to be completed by each serving Councillor and a record of these is kept. These are available from the Clerk in printed form and will be also be available to download.
Standing Orders
Standing Orders are the procedures which the Parish Council must follow in carrying out its business.
Transparency Code
This was introduced in 2014 and requires the Parish Council to publish detailed Financial Data, Minutes and Agendas.
Health and Safety
The Parish Council is required by law to have a policy. You can download two documents one of which details the agreed policy and the other which assesses the specific risks and the actions required to minimise them.
